I would like the option to see the Track Waypoint display change from 'QDM to the station' to 'QDR from the station' when the distance is increasing after passing the waypoint, or else have an option to switch TO/FROM yourself.

Suppose you are tracking inbound to an NDB on the 360° QDM, the display shows 360° TO and DIST. After passing the station you want to track radial 330° Outbound, if the display continues to show QDM to the station, it will show 150° and you will do quite a bit of mental math. After one minute, you turn right and turn towards the station, wanting to intercept QDM 180°.

Actually, I might like a dotted line or so, continuously updated, connecting the aircraft symbol to the waypoint being tracked, or else on the HSI, a second needle like an RMI, always pointing to the waypoint. The track waypoint is such a nice feature, it would be a pity not to do more with it.
